The moment you send a payment in banq, the funds are immediately available to the recipient. If you sent money to someone accidentally, as a first step, send a request for money, so they can hopefully pay you back.
Be sure to include in the notes that you accidentally sent them money. Once they accept the request, the money will be deposited back into your banq account.
If you don’t hear back from them or need help sending a charge request, contact our support team and we’ll do our best to help. We can't guarantee that we'll be able to retrieve the funds, but we'll do our best to assist.
If you are unsure of the banqname you may be sending a payment to, we recommend creating a payment link, and sending that link through your other means of connection (whether that be text, slack, etc.).
When you contact us, please be sure to include the following details to expedite the process:
- banqname that you sent the payment to
- Amount of the payment
- Date of the payment
- banqname you meant to pay
